Employment Opportunity – Chief Operator: Water & Wastewater Utility
The Village of Pepin has an opening for a full-time Chief Operator in our Water and Wastewater Utility. This position will be a full-time position with benefits.
Candidates that have, or are willing to obtain, necessary State Certification as a Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and Municipal Waterworks Grade 1 license are encouraged to apply. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
This job does require mechanical knowledge, as well as the use of computers and basic skills within Microsoft Office. In addition, a basic understanding of Biology or Chemistry would aid in effectively operating and managing the Water System and Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Applicants must live or be willing to relocate to within a 10-mile radius of the village limits. This position will remain open until it is filled.
